Ingredients

For 4 people

  • 400 gr. of rabbit
  • 400 gr. of chicken.
  • 250 gr. of green beans.
  • 150 gr. Tavella
  • 150 gr. of garrofón.
  • 1 ripe tomato
  • 500 gr. of rice.
  • 8 tablespoons oil
  • A pinch of sweet paprika, saffron and salt.

Preparation

  1. In a paella to the fire we pour the oil and once hot we put the chopped meat, we fry it well and add the green beans, the garrofón and the tavella.
  2. We continue with the stir-fry for about eight minutes and add the grated tomato.
  3. Move a little and add the rice, paprika, saffron and water.
  4. When boiling, adjust salt.

August Festivities

The first weekend of August in honor of Santa Ana, San Jaime and the Blessed Christ of the Good Death, to highlight the entry of Moors and Christians and the procession of Christ. Although the fervor for the HOLY CHRIST OF THE GOOD DEATH came from centuries ago, he was appointed “official” patron of Benimarfull in 1963, coinciding with the 3rd centenary of the Preservation of the Eucharist.
Since then, the village festivities are celebrated in his honor.

For several years, DELIA FERRÁNDIZ (photographer, painter, radio host …) has become an indispensable figure in our parties.
